教育部學(xué)位與研究生教育發(fā)展中心（簡(jiǎn)稱教育部學(xué)位中心）是教育部直屬事業(yè)單位，在教育部、國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)及國(guó)務(wù)院教育督導(dǎo)委員會(huì)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下開展工作，具有獨(dú)立法人資質(zhì)。
歷史沿革
教育部學(xué)位中心成立于2003年，其前身是成立于1999年的全國(guó)學(xué)位與研究生教育發(fā)展中心。
工作職能
開展學(xué)位與研究生教育的科研工作，為教育部、國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)、國(guó)務(wù)院教育督導(dǎo)委員會(huì)有關(guān)政策的制定提供參考。
承擔(dān)教育部、國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)、國(guó)務(wù)院教育督導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委托開展的學(xué)位與研究生教育的評(píng)估、評(píng)審監(jiān)測(cè)工作，并根據(jù)需要面向社會(huì)自主開展與學(xué)位與研究生教育有關(guān)的評(píng)估、評(píng)審服務(wù)工作。
承擔(dān)以研究生畢業(yè)同等學(xué)力人員申請(qǐng)碩士（博士）學(xué)位全國(guó)統(tǒng)考的命題和考務(wù)工作。
承擔(dān)我國(guó)學(xué)位與國(guó)外學(xué)位、我國(guó)內(nèi)地學(xué)位與港澳臺(tái)地區(qū)學(xué)位的對(duì)等研究以及相互承認(rèn)學(xué)位協(xié)議有關(guān)咨詢工作；根據(jù)政府授權(quán)與有關(guān)非政府組織和民間機(jī)構(gòu)簽訂有關(guān)學(xué)位與研究生教育評(píng)估及互認(rèn)的合作協(xié)議。
承擔(dān)學(xué)位證書的認(rèn)證評(píng)價(jià)、鑒定和咨詢工作。
負(fù)責(zé)全國(guó)學(xué)位與研究生教育信息系統(tǒng)的建設(shè)、維護(hù)并面向社會(huì)提供服務(wù)。
開展學(xué)位與研究生教育的民間國(guó)際交流與合作。
主辦《中國(guó)研究生》雜志。
開展學(xué)位與研究生教育相關(guān)的其他工作。

Introduction of CDGDC
As an independent legal entity, China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) is an administrative department directly under the Ministry of Education (MoE), operating under the joint leadership of the Ministry of Education, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council (ADCSC), and the Education Inspection Committee of the State Council.
Our History
CDGDC was established in 2003, evolving from National Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center founded in 1999.
Functions
To engage in scientific research on academic degrees and graduate education, and provide policy-making counseling for the Ministry of Education, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and the Education Inspection Committee of the State Council.
To conduct tasks of assessing,evaluating and monitering academic degrees and graduate education, entrusted by the Ministry of Education, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and the Education Inspection Committee of the State Council. And when necessary, CDGDC has the authority to independently conduct similar tasks entrusted by any social establishments.
To undertake the tasks of test-paper setting and test administration for the the national tests for the equivalently qualified master （or doctoral）degreeapplicants.
To engage in the researchondegree equivalency between China and othercountries, between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR as well as Taiwan;to provide counseling service of qualification recognition. Authorized by the government, CDGDC can sign cooperation agreements concerning degree recognition and graduate education evaluation with non-governmental organizations and institutions.
To provide verification and recognition services of degree certificates and other study documents, and related consulting service.
To undertake the tasks of the developmentand maintenance of the information system for national academic degrees and graduate education, and provide services in this area to the public.
To conduct non-governmental international exchanges and cooperation in academic degrees and graduate education.
To manage the magazine China Postgraduates.
To take other related responsibilities concerning academic degrees and graduate education.
CDGDC Logo
The logo of CDGDC resembles the shape of a mortarboard, which symbolizes academic degrees. The red brim of the mortarboard in the shape of an open book symbolizes graduate education. The three ribbons on the right side of the mortarboard symbolize the bachelor degree, the master degree and the doctoral degree respectively.
The color blue stands for profoundness and wisdom, and the color red stands for youth and vitality.
